I'm playing with one of the new sets I got at the Scrapbook Expo this weekend. I was happy to find it at a very good sale price. Yay! Shopping Our Stash has a challenge of "You Light Up My Light" and of course I HAD to join in with this set! (Wink.) This light bulb is shining to hook up at the following challenges:
I got to attend the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, Georgia a few days ago. I went with friends and we had the best time! We took classes and shopped, shopped, shopped! I couldn't wait to get in my craft room and play with new inks, stamps and more crafty goodies bought at the Expo. I came home fired up to get inky and creative! Marker Pop has a challenge with the theme of "Let's Go To The Fair." This one had me baffled until I remembered a stamp set by Glitz Design which has a Farris Wheel. How perfect is that! I'm linking this card up to the following challenges:
I love a good sketch for creating a card which is why I fell in love with the Sketch Saturday challenge blog. I was happy to be asked to join their design team recently and this is my "first" card as part of the design team. We were asked to use a digital image from this week's sponsor Oddball Art Company. I chose a cute image of a cloud with hearts hanging from it which just screamed "baby" to me. Hope you like my first card for Sketch Saturday!
In between packing to go to the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, Georgia I found a few minutes to "play" in my craft studio. I had a new stamp set which wanted to get inky. (Wink.) Since I didn't have very long to craft I decided to do a CAS (clean and simple) card. This card is actually prettier in person since my photograph does not show the "sparkle" in the tree very well. I took a small artist brush and applied glitter Mod Podge to the colored circles (and along top and bottom edges of card). It gives it just a touch of sparkle and looks so pretty. As luck would have it there are some CAS challenges this week so I'm sharing "kindness" at the following challenges:
I have a fun quick and easy card for you today featuring stamps by Hampton Art with matching dies. It is part of their Mama Elephant release. My cute little creature wants to spread happiness at the following challenges:
Time for one of my "funny" cards. This vintage image of "kids" by Crafty Secrets made me think of a humorous sentiment by Riley & Company. Looks like they were made for each other. I remember when my girls were very young and I had days thinking this very thing! (Wink.) But now they are grown and I look back on those days with nostalgia. These mischievous kids want to play at the following challenges:
CCEE Stampers has a challenge of "Masks." You can either use the masking technique or have a stamped image of a mask. When I saw this challenge, I immediately thought of Hampton Art's set of stamps by Graphic 45 called Midnight Masquerade. These mysterious "dreamers" are linking up to the following challenges:
